What is a steel pipe?

In this type of pipes, very strong metal sheets are bent and their two edges are connected to each other by continuous welding after being placed next to each other. It should be noted that all kinds of tensile, bending, impact, expansion and flatness and pressure tests are performed on these pipes to test their strength in different conditions and in accordance with the standards required for different industries.

Depending on the type of application, welded pipes have several sub-categories, including water, API, gas, electricity and industrial pipes.

In various industries, pipes are used to transfer various fluids such as water and sewage, oil and gasoline, oil, etc. in factories, as well as cables and telecommunication wires and electricity. One of the most common examples of these pipes are options that have a carbon steel body and are known as a shock and corrosion resistant metal pipe. These pipes are known as steel pipes and their small size is a good option for transferring and guiding power cables and large sizes are used in refineries and water and sewage transmission and similar applications.
