2 Types of Automatic Soap Dispensers

Social distancing norms as well as many other self-sanitization norms are still relevant and will be so, for a very long time. Even if someday the Coronavirus stops affecting people, the general public has understood the value of maintaining self-hygiene and sanitization. So it is important that you install a high-quality auto soap dispenser at your workplace and also at your home. It will not only keep you and your family members safe but also help in creating a positive impression in front of your guests.

In the market, there are mainly two types of automatic soap dispensers. So here they are:

1. Radar Based Automatic Soap Dispensers

Automatic soap dispensers consist of a sensor that helps in understanding when a person is trying to use the soap dispenser. Some automatic soap dispensers are Radar-based and they send microwaves across to the object in front and wait for the reflected energy. So when a person places their hands underneath the dispenser, the sensor triggers the soap dispensation. The nozzle is automatically released and a few drops of it is released onto the hands of the person placed below the nozzle.

2. Passive Infrared Based Automatic Soap Dispensers

Another type of sensor in an automatic soap dispenser is based on passive infrared radiation. As you may already know, infrared energy is used for understanding heat fluctuations in an area or an object. The sensor tries to analyze the differences in the heat and its proximity and therefore understands when a person has placed their hands underneath the nozzle. Once they detect high body heat, the nozzle releases and drops of soap are dropped onto the person’s hands.

You might also find a photo sensor-based touchless soap dispenser that analysis light and obstruction of it. But nonetheless, when buying the soap dispenser, it is important to check the quality of the sensor.
