Jagex has left the user-friendly policy too long, in my opinion

Jagex has left the user-friendly policy too long, in my opinion. If they make changes to the policy, the community upon OSRS Gold which it is based will also change. A new policy is therefore needed. Effective policies (or filters, as I refer to them) must be flexible. Jagex needs to filter more feedback to ensure that it only uses only the relevant feedback. Jagex is a victim of this issue.

This is how Jagex (according me) should have dealt with Ice Strykewyrms. Personally, I am still wondering why they have a forums for rants, updates, feedback, etc. cetera. There are too many topics (of which many are nonsense) to go through. The first thing is to shut down the rants forum. Then, they must announce that they won't be using feedback that is submitted to the Recent Updates Forum. The forum is for discussion only. Players can give feedback by posting updates from the past in the Feedback forum.

A sticky is required to be added to the topic called "Discussion Request". Players can ask for topics to debate (or or rant) on issues they believe should be addressed. Forum Mods can hide any rants or feedback that are posted on inappropriate forums in order to get Jagex the attention of Jagex. This filter is huge and stops spamming. It allows Jagex to focus on the matters that are important to Jagex.

Okay, great. But how do you think Jagex manage the Ice Strykewyrms situation? Answer: They should not have read the posts on the topic. Instead they should have created an online poll that allows members to vote for a compromise. The votes should be filtered like a madman as this is done. They should have the ability to verify the voting groups that were involved. These groups should:

Members who do not have 93 Slayer. Members who have the number 93 Slayer and without a Fire cape. Members with 93 Slayer, and wearing a Fire cape. These groups will require some programming, but it certainly would be Buy RuneScape 2007 Gold possible. After the votes were recorded, the participants ought to have compared their results and then decided whether they want to make a compromise. This is the way it should have been.
