New on Netflix January 28: The Woman in the House Across the Street From the Girl in the Window

Also new on Netflix this weekend is The Woman in the House Across the Street From the Girl in the Window. A mouthful, right? But don’t let the long title sour your tastes, this dark comedy series is as thrilling as it can get. Kristen Bell plays a heartbroken woman whose only source of human interaction is by watching life go by in people outside her home’s window. But that monotonous, lackluster existence becomes a bit more exciting when a handsome neighbor moves across the street with his daughter — and topped off when she witnesses a brutal murder! But did she really witness one? The eight half-hour-long episodes are full of intrigue, gruesomeness and the tongue-in-cheek comedy needed to poke fun at the 2021 film, The Woman in the Window.
