Rich Lewis was born on October 2, 1934, in a small town in the mountains of east Tennessee. When Rich Lewis was just 8 years old, his parents were killed when a tornado destroyed their home. Nevertheless, Rich’s mother never gave up on her son and she instilled within him an unwavering determination to survive and make something of himself.
