Putting clothes on the dogs is a weird idea. It is like covering the dog with another hide and covering its beauty. It is not a wise idea, but if the situation demands then go for it. Extreme winter season or rainy days or snow all around are compelling situations to put a dress on a pet dog. 

If clothes for the dog are necessary then many aspects may be kept in mind. Dress should not confine the animal. Dogs are borne free. Their bodies are made for free movements. Their gestures, nature, and tasks do not permit dress. So the first thing to keep in mind is to prepare a dress that should not be fixed and tight for them. The dress should be flexible and stretchable. It must be lightweight and perforate. This will allow the dogs to feel relaxed and free. Moving around and running, jumping will be easy for them.

Moreover, light colors are preferable instead of dark and shocking colors. Why? Because light color does not intercept, intervene and interrupt. Important to note that all dogs have light color fur. Therefore light colors will make them happy.

Dress and weather go hand in hand. Dogs have skin that not only has fur but has a less ratio of perspiration. Therefore, putting another heavy coat upon it is cruelty. 

Branded dresses are available in the markets. Amazon, Mars pet, Nestle, and Hills Pet are some of them. Dog-related items including dresses, toys, accessories, food are available with them. Dog collars, dog slings, Dog Beds, food bowls, and training accessories help the owners to maintain the pets.

The usage of all these items and accessories depends upon the type of dog. Puppies are an exception. An outdoor dog has different requirements whereas a domestic pet has different requirements.

Care must be taken in this regard.
