Non-admin 

If you are an accountant reviewing the client’s file, then go for non-admin option. Select non-admin only if you manage the company’s financial actions on the admin’s behalf and go for continue tab. QuickBooks will close the intuit account prompt. After the time span of 14 days, you would have to sign into the file again in order to work on it 

Admin 

Just in case you are an accountant that does everything for the client, then you go for the admin option. This isn’t the standard though. Scenario 3: If you are asked to sign into the Intuit account after you sign in to the company file

In such case, it is suggested to ask your client to approve your QuickBooks access, if you want to access your client’s info. After this, you will be able to see the User ID prompt, if the client has already linked his/her intuit account to the company file. However, if the email address that is present isn’t yours, then make sure to replace it with the right one. Choose continue tab and enter the password. If you are signing in with your Intuit account credentials for the very first time, then your client will have to approve the access. Go for the ok tab and tell your client to approve the access.
